LANGUAGE ARTS 8/9-1

Homework: I am pleased to say that many of you have used your computer time wisely and have nearly or already finished your essay on A Christmas Carol. Others, not so wisely and you will have quite a bit of extra work to do this weekend to get it finished for the due date of Monday, Feb 5th. Remember to do the following before handing it in:
1) Check to see if you have 5 paragraphs (- don't forget your thesis statement in the first paragraph)
2) Read it over (out loud) to yourself to look for errors
3) Have someone else also read it over fore you before you hand it in
4) Make sure you check through the "no excuse" sheet to see if you have checked everything (eg; capitals for names, places etc.; as well as underlining the title of the play, and NO contractions or numbers).
Note: Due to the amount of time you have had in school to complete this essay and the opportunities I have given to come at lunch and after school for help and computer time - I WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY LATE ASSIGNMENTS.
