Homework: You need to be working on your projects, 1) timeline or map; 2) one of the enrichment projects. Don't leave these until the last minute.
Timeline: You need ten events that happened in the year 1923 in Russia during the reign of Lenin - leading up to Lenin's death, January 24, 1924. At each of the main events you choose - write or type up information about how that event effected Alex and what was happening with him. (example: collectivism - food was being sent to the government and many people were starving and there was no food) - Connection to Alex - this is why he had to end up stealing because he needed to eat to survive
Map - You will need to look up various maps to find all these locations but you should have on your map of Russia the following places that Alex or Alex and the band went. [Kovrov, Vladimir-train station, Moscow, Caucasus Mountains-children's home, back to Moscow, Leningrad, village on the shores of Russia across from Bjorko, Finland-Gulf)
